The Hohe Tauern National Park Worlds are currently open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Due to annual maintenance work, the exhibition will be closed from November 4th to November 20th, 2024. Starting from November 21st, 2024, it will reopen with new hours from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

You need about 1 ½ hours to visit the exhibition, and about 2 hours for a guided tour with a national park ranger that has been booked in advance.

Yes, the national park worlds are barrier-free. The national park worlds have an elevator and some ramps for wheelchairs and prams.

Yes, the exhibition is an experience for the whole family.

Dogs are not permitted in the exhibition, even when carried in a dog carrier backpack. We ask for your understanding.

The exhibition covers around 1,800 m2 to explore and discover. Our visitors go through 10 different natural areas.

You have the option of booking a guided tour with the national park ranger. These must be registered at least 4 weeks in advance. A surcharge of EUR 5.00 per person will be charged for the guided tour. A flat rate of EUR 75.00 is charged for groups of less than 15 people. Please plan about 2 hours for the tour.

Students and apprentices, civilian and military service as well as people with disabilities receive discounts for entry into the national park worlds by presenting a valid ID.

Discounts with the guest card are only available on the following guest cards: National Park Winter Bonus Card, Bruck Fusch guest card and the Kitzbühel guest card.

Seniors currently do not receive any discounts on their admission tickets.

A ticket does not necessarily have to be reserved, but we recommend reserving the tickets, especially in the summer season or on rainy days.

Yes, of course! We kindly ask you to register a group with a guided tour by telephone or e-mail at least two weeks before the desired date. If you would like to register your group for the visit without a guide, this is possible up to 1 day in advance.

Yes. The national park worlds in Mittersill are easily accessible by public transport such as bus and train. The walking time from the train station is approx. 10 minutes or from the bus stop "Mittersill Stadtplatz" approx. 5 minutes.

The National Park Worlds are inclusive partners of the National Park Summer Card. With the National Park Summer Card you can visit one of over 60 inclusive partners per day free of charge. Please scan your SommerCard directly at the turnstile at the entrance to the exhibition. If you have already used your first entry on this day, you will receive a 50% discount on your ticket at the cash desk with your SommerCard.
